MN - Bunker Hills Regional Park

For our visit to the Twin Cities to see family and friends we stayed at the campground at Bunker Hills Regional Park.  This is a county park and is huge and very nice.  Tons of paved trails for biking and running, Bunker Beach water park, a very nice veterans memorial (including a tank!), disc golf, regular golf course, picnic pavillions, riding stables and paths, and the campground where sites have water and electric hook ups. We took advantage of the trail system and the waterpark, and the close proximity to most places we were visiting!

Also to note, there is an Enterprise car rental very close as well, so it was very convenient for us to pick up a car for use for the week and drop it off on our way out of town.
